Trying to decide between a big wedding and an elopement? It’s not always black and white - it’s often a little grey... so here’s my take:

If you love the idea of a big party with all your favourite people in one room, then go for it! A large wedding is an amazing excuse to gather your crew, celebrate love, and make memories that last a lifetime. Plus, who doesn’t love a good party?

But let’s be real - if your parents live in a different country it can add a lot of stress with time and money to travel for a wedding.

An elopement can strip this stress away. In the past, I've seen folks get married for no other reason than their love for each other which is what marriage is about, right? It’s perfect if you want to skip the logistics and spend your time soaking up those loved-up vibes in a killer location (ie, Queenstown!)

Can’t decide? Combine the two! Have a small, intimate ceremony and throw a party later. The best part? There’s no wrong choice. Whether it’s a big bash or a private adventure, your day should feel like you.
